As you see, the nuts I purchase are “natural almonds.”

Natural/raw nuts are key! The processing of nuts can affect their nutritional benefits as they are heated in unhealthy fats and high temperatures can destroy their nutrients. Nuts provide¬†healthy fats, fiber, plant sterols, and many vitamins and minerals; you wouldn’t want to lose any of that!

Almonds, rich in the amino acid L-arginine, can actually help you burn more fat and carbs during workouts.

You may also notice my almonds are in the refrigerator Рif you store nuts in your pantry/at room temperature, they can last up to three months. However, if you store them in the fridge, they can last for up to six months. I also think they have a fresher taste when they are chilled!

Some of the best nuts for you and for weight loss are: brazil nuts, walnuts, almonds, pistachios, peanuts, and cashews.
